We are trying to decide between Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter. We have a 6 year old son and a 3 year old daughter. Which do you recommend? Thank you!

While Port Orleans Riverside is a gorgeous resort, based on their ages, I think your children may appreciate the larger-than-life theming at the French Quarter more.  While you won't find oversized Disney icons dotting the property like those at the All-Star resorts, you will come across playful and vibrant decor during your stay at Port Orleans French Quarter.  The pool features a huge dragon and a trio of alligators.  You'll even find a whimsical jester welcoming guests into the main pool area.  At the food court, you'll find a Mardi Gras celebration every day!  Giant masks, beads, and other Mardi Gras icons adorn the ceiling.  And, of course, the playground and arcade will likely be appreciated by your children as well.

During your stay you could always take a stroll alongside the Sassagoula River to visit Port Orleans Riverside.  The walk is pleasant and only takes 5-10 minutes.

    Good luck with your decision!
