Trying to decide which parks to go to which days of our vacation in April 2017. Getting conflicting advice- avoid Extra Magic Hours or plan around them? Help?

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

What a great question!  I guess there are many different opinions on this topic and I can respect each and every one them.  However, with that being said, I must share my opinion and I hope it helps as you continue planning for your Walt Disney World vacation.

Although the intent for many guests is to get up early in the morning to take advantage of the low crowd levels, they just cannot seem to roll out of bed due to trying to recuperate from a late evening the night before.  Disney's Extra Magic Hours is a great way to take advantage of the early morning hours, low crowd levels as this perk is only reserved for guests staying at a WDW Resort and very little wait time at many of the popular attractions.  I am huge fan of EMH and I am typically able to ride the popular attractions at least twice prior to gate opening.  You will find yourself more relaxed during the day knowing that you have already enjoyed your favorite attractions and now you can find some other new things to do since you are not waiting in long lines.  Don't forget, EMH is also offered in the evening hours on select nights.  If you want to hop on your favorite attraction later on in the day, don't forget to use FastPass+ in order to do so. Just sign on to My Disney Experience to get started.  Again, I highly recommend taking advantage of EMH. Make sure to check with Guest Services to see which park is offering EMH.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  Looking for some unique shopping and dining experiences.  Head on over to Disney Springs.  This is one place you will not want to miss.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
