I am trying to decide which parks would be best for our family. We will be taking our 2 and 4 year olds. We were planning to do one water park and 2 of the other parks. Which would you suggest for their ages?

    Hi Kayla,

Our son first visited WDW when he was 2. It was a delightful age to see the magic through his eyes. Your four year old is also at a great age for taking in all of the wonderment in Disney World!

The water parks at Walt Disney World are absolutely wonderful. Our family loves to visit them on each visit, weather permitting.

I'm not certain how many days that you have allotted for the theme parks. If you only have two days planned, spend both of them in the Magic Kingdom. This will give you time to savor the rides, shows, parades and character greetings. If possible, experience at least one character meal. Your two-year old will dine for free at the character buffet meals! Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom with Winnie the Pooh is a great choice.

If you have time for another park, I would suggest the Animal Kingdom. The animal viewing trails, Boneyard playground, Kilimanjaro Safari, Rafiki's Planet Watch, TriceraTops Spin and Festival of the Lion King show make this park worthy of a visit. Dine with Donald Duck at Tusker House for an extra treat!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
