Adults Food and Wine at Epcot

We're trying to decide if we should get a meal plan for our trip this fall. With alcohol being part of the meal plans this year, will we be able to use a quick service meal at the Food & Wine Festival booths to get food and drinks?

Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kate! I love Epcot’s International Festivals. The Flower & Garden Festival allows me to revel in all things floral, fruit and fresh, while the Food & Wine Festival celebrates the savory, flavorful, and artistic. I think you’ll enjoy your time in the World Showcase.

Since you will be dining with the Disney Dining Plan, I want to tell you that you cannot use a meal credit at the Outdoor Kitchens. You may feel like you’re at a loss, but many of the dishes and beverages actually qualify as a snack credit. You will see the purple “DDP” snack logo next to qualifying items all over Walt DIsney World Resort, and this festival is no exception. When you’re at the register ready to checkout, mention that you’d like to downgrade a Quick Service meal credit into 3 snack credits. You’ll have to ask for this at the register, and all 3 snacks will need to be purchased at once. For example, a party of 3 can get 3 Dole Whips by exchanging 1 Quick Service credit. It’s a great way to share credits around the Showcase and enjoy new flavors! If you find an outdoor kitchen with 3 different snack credit dishes you’d like to try, you can order all 3 with a meal credit exchange, too. It doesn’t have to be the same food item x 3.

If I can help you find more tasty treats or recommend my favorite Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival plates, please let me know. I’ve got a rumbly in my tumbly after talking about all these edibles! It’s time for something sweet. ~ Lindsey P.
