Walt Disney World Halloween

Trying to decide between Halloween night and 11/1 for MNSSHP. Wondering how the crowds will be. If Halloween night sells out, how many tickets will be sold/people will be attending. Thanks for all the great advice!

Hi, Jamie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for stopping by with another great question! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my family's favorite seasonal activity. It just does not seem like Halloween until we have gone trick-or-treating at Magic Kingdom Park. You will have a frightfully fun good time, with all of the character meets, dance parties in different areas across the park, the best parade full of the happiest haunts, and of course, the many attractions that will be operating during the party.

We have gone to Mickey's-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on different dates. Most of the time, we either go on Halloween night or November 1. I can tell you that both nights are likely to sell out of admission tickets. You may want to buy your tickets to the event sooner rather than later so that you will be sure to scare up a good time at the park with your family. In my many discussions with Madame Leota while hanging out at Haunted Mansion (she hosts the BEST seanses!), I have asked her to see if her contacts in other realms could provide us some information on exactly how many revelers are admitted to these parties. The only replies we have received are "not on your life," and "the dead center of a perfect number." Oh well, while we may not be privy to that information, I can tell you from my experiences that you can have an absolutely spell-binding time while at the party, no matter how many ghouls join you. I do recommend that you arrive early at Magic Kingdom Park. They usually allow guests to enter with event tickets and receive their armbands sometime between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. This will give you time to ride some attractions or even dress for the occasion before the party really begins.

Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
