We are trying to decide if we go to WDW either this October or November. Considering it is so close and you have to reserve dining AND FastPass now I am nervous that we won't be able to get reservations to rides or any dining when we go. Thoughts?

    Stephanie:

If you can choose any week during October or November, I'd seriously look at the week prior to Thanksgiving. Typically, the week before and after Thanksgiving sees the lowest crowds of the year because children are in school. Whereas, in October, some schools are out for Columbus Day and fall break and so the parks have more guests. Lower crowds and a month that is just a little farther out from now will give you more options for dining reservations and FastPass+. (Keep in mind, though, that you may not find yourself even needing to maximize the FP+ system with low crowds.)

Additionally, while the Magic Kingdom is decorated for fall in October, the other parks aren't as festive. However, in November, they are all dressed for Christmas. Add to this that November weather can still allow you a few days at the pools and possibly even shorts with a light jacket, and it gets my vote.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
