I am trying to decide if I want the Disney hopper It would actually be less expensive to buy an 8 days pass instead of a 5 day pass with the hopper! Can you do that? We want the flexibility but might not use it everyday. My boys are 12,11 and 5

    Hi Jean,

You can buy an 8 day pass, but you won't be able to go to two different parks in one day without the Park Hopper option. For example, if I have a regular, 2 day Magic Your Way Pass, and I went to the Magic Kingdom one morning, I wouldn't be able to use my second pass on the same day in different park. I think if your family is looking for that kind of flexibility you should probably take the 5 day Park Hopper option.

On the other hand, you might find that a better option for you would be to get the regular tickets and add the Water Park Fun & More option.  I have children of similar ages, and they love going to the water parks, Disney Quest and even miniature golf. It provides a nice break from the parks, and gives you something different to do.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
