Trying to decide between dinner at Cape May Cafe or 1900 Park Fare. Food is the main key.

    Hello Amanda!
I'm so glad you asked about two of my favorite buffet restaurants. Let's talk about some food!

Cape May Cafe is an amazing restaurant that specializes in seafood. The big draw for this restaurant is the bottomless snow crab legs.  There's also usually paella on the menu, steamed clams, salmon, peel and eat shrimp, and side dishes such as potatoes, steamed corn, seasonal vegetables, and salad.  For those that may not enjoy seafood, there is a carving station.  The kids' station usually has things like chicken, macaroni and cheese, cheese pizza to name a few (kids of all ages are welcome at these areas of the buffet, of course).  A selection of mini-desserts is available if you have a sweet tooth when you are finished with your meal.  Please note that the menu here can change without notice and some things are served seasonally or on certain days only.  Dinner is not a character dining experience at Cape May Cafe.

1900 Park Fare is a recent family favorite in our house. This is one of the most impressive buffets at the Walt Disney World Resort and I think everyone can find something they like here. There is a carving station of beef, plus other main dishes such as salmon, curried chicken, shrimp scampi plus favorites like pulled pork, peel and eat shrimp, chicken wings and pasta. Side dishes include the amazing Floridian Strawberry Soup, cheese selection, and multiple salads. Dessert is delicious baked goods of all kinds. The kids station is much like the one at Cape May Cafe. Dinner is a character dining experience with Cinderella and some of her friends.

Amanda, I hope this makes it easier to choose! Have a great vacation!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
