Trying to decide between Chef Mickey and 1900 Park Fare. First is there any difference when it comes to the food that is served? Also if we want to eat as early ASAP will we need to drive since buses start at 8am and they open at (7am or 7:30). Thanks

    Hi Curtis,

I'm writing you from Walt Disney World where I've had a fun few days and look forward to sharing some tips with your family.

Both Chef Mickey and 1900 Park Fare are popular restaurants for character meals.

The food offerings are a little different. I think the quality of food is probably a bit better at the Grand Floridian's 1900 Park Fare where there is a build your own omelet station!

Chef Mickey's is a more interactive meal where kids and adults may be invited to dance and/or wave their napkins to celebrate a party with Mickey.

1900 Park Fare is quieter but also a lot of fun.

There are Mickey waffles at both locations.

To see menus visit www.AllEars.Net and go to the dining section.

You will not need to drive to breakfast unless you want to. In my experience, there is usually an early morning character breakfast bus available for early diners. Check with your resort's Guest Relations for specific pick up times since schedules are subject to change.
