Trying to decide between breakfast at Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare. We are already eating at Tusker House, so we will have met Donald and Mickey there. Which would you recommend? Kids are 6, 3 and 18 months. Thanks!

    Hi Melinda:

I can see why this is a tough decision, especially for children in that age range.  Luckily, I never have a problem giving my opinion.

For my family, we would choose Chef Mickey's.   Every vacation, my boys, now ages 8 and 7, insist on eating at Chef Mickey's - for breakfast, dinner, or both. The energy at Chef Mickey's is incredible. My boys not only enjoy the huge buffet, but their smiles shine when Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and Minnie stop by the table to pose for pictures and sign autographs.  I realize you will already have met Donald and Mickey, but my boys never tire of the fab five.  They also really enjoy the party atmosphere at Chef Mickey's, where 1900 Park Fare has more of a tamer feel.  1900 Park Fare generally features Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, whom my boys loved when they were younger, but ultimately, they would have chosen Mickey and friends every day of the week.  If you've never eaten at Chef Mickeys before, I would doubly recommend it.

But kids rule at Disney World, so you may want to clear the decision with them.

    Enjoy your vacation.
