Trying to book fastpasses for Epcot. Is there an avg. time that the FP+ saves vs standing in line? Not sure how much time to leave btwn rides. Was thinking its best to schedule our 3 FP together in morning so we can do Showcase in afternoon. Thoughts?

    Hi Amy,

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel to ask your question. The average time that your FastPass+ selection will save you depends on the attraction and the time of day. For reference, my family and I just got back from a Walt Disney World vacation and the longest we waited in the FastPass+ queue was 15 minutes. We were in Disney's Hollywood Studios, during Star Wars Weekends and in the queue for Toy Story Mania (one of the most popular rides in the park). The wait time in the standby queue at that time was over 70 minutes.

When scheduling your FastPass+ selections for Epcot, I would suggest not overlapping them, if at all possible. Since we are allotted a whole hour to arrive for our FastPass+ selections, take advantage of that amenity. Scheduling them all in the morning is a great idea, as long as you do your best to not have them overlap. When it comes to any type of experience at Walt Disney World, it's a good rule to give yourself more time to get to a destination then less time, which can cause stress. No one wants to stress during their magical vacation, right?

I hope this answered your question and helps with your vacation planning, Amy. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us at any time. We're always here to help.
