When trying to book the Caribbean Beach online it says that the rooms accommodate 5 adults, but all the blogs say they only sleep 4. which is correct? it was going to let me book the room for a family of 5,(kids 5,7,9) what would happen when we arrive?

    Hi Bethany,

Thanks so much for sending another great question to us here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

There's a very good reason why you've seen some conflicting information out there, and it's one that has me personally excited, since I also have a family of 5 myself.  Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort has been undergoing some fantastic renovations in recent months, so some of the information that's out there hasn't quite caught up with the updates that have been made to the rooms.  Those updates include the addition of a bunk-size pull-down bed (similar to a Murphy bed) that allows the rooms to now sleep 5 instead of 4, gorgeous new decor, the addition of queen-size beds (replacing the full beds) and a new door that separates the vanity area from the sleeping area.  The other Moderate Resort that has a similar set-up and can sleep 5 is Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside in the Alligator Bayou section.  You couldn't go wrong with either choice, and as long as you include all 5 of your family members on your reservation, you'll get a room that accommodates you all.

I hope that helps, Bethany, and sending you lots of pixie dust as you make your plans!  I'd love to help answer any other questions you have, so please write back anytime.

    Beth
