Hi! I am trying to arrange a trip that include NSSHP and MVMCP!!! I am just wondering how this all work (times and all). We are going to stay in Orlando for 2 weeks so I need to plan the whole stay. Will celebrate my sons 5th bday! Any cool ideas? thanks!

    Hi Nathalia,

It sounds like you have a great vacation planned - two weeks including Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and your son's birthday!

Given that you want to attend both parties, you will need to go in late October and early November. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party will be held select nights from September 10 - November 1, 2013. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be held select nights from November 8 - December 20, 2013. For your specific situation, you could consider the Halloween party the night of October 29, 31, or November 1, and then the Christmas party on November 8 or 11. My family often visits Walt Disney World during the first week of November and it is magical to see the transformation of Magic Kingdom Park from Halloween to Christmas. The unofficial site allears.net has good information about both parties. Simply go to the site and at the top right under "planning" there are links for information on each party. Both parties do require a separate ticket - they are not included with your theme park admission for the day. You can purchase tickets by calling 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639). These tickets get you in for the evening of the party. Anyone not holding a ticket for the party will have to leave the theme park when the party starts.

For your son's fifth birthday, I absolutely recommend getting him the birthday button available for no extra charge at Guest Relations at any theme park. Sometimes, you may be surprised with an extra birthday treat such as a cupcake at the end of a meal. Though this kind of extra perk is not a guarantee, it is still nice to hear cast members and guests wishing your son a happy birthday throughout the day as they see his birthday button!

I hope that this information helps, Nathalia. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions. Have a great time planning your vacation!
