I would like to try some of the Disneyland table service restaurants but unfortunately the kid menus would not be appealing to my picky 4 year old. Do you know if they are able to make substitutions so my entire family can enjoy the experience?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kelly. Thank you for stopping by with your question regarding table service restaurants at the Disneyland Resort. Our family has dined at nearly all the table service restaurants in both parks and resort hotels of the Disneyland Resort. Whether we are dining in Disneyland, Walt Disney World, or aboard the Disney Cruise Line, we know one thing for certain: Disney is exceptional and goes "to infinity and beyond" to cater to Guests' needs. I have experienced this firsthand, when I dined with family and friends who have allergies to corn, wheat, and dairy. We've always had amazing dining experiences each time!

With that in mind, you can certainly ask to speak with the chef when you visit one of the table service restaurants. He or she can go over menu options or substitutions for your 4-year-old so you can enjoy a stress-free family meal together. Is there a food allergy, intolerance, or aversion that your child has? Definitely bring this up. I recommend calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE to speak with a Cast Member so he/she can indicate your concerns on your reservation.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you plan your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. I wish you and your family a stress-free, unforgettable vacation, Kelly. Please visit me on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
