    James Asked

When I try and book a vacation online & add park tickets with hotel room, why are the tickets more in the package then just buying the tickets by themselves? 8 day ticket w/ hopper-$895 by themselves. but w/ hotel room also its $953.18. Why?

Hi James! The park tickets in the package don't cost more than buying the tickets separately. The package is showing you the cost of the park tickets with tax, while the ticket-only page is showing you the price of the passes before tax. If you actually click "Buy Now" on the ticket page, it will take you to a check-out screen that displays the total cost of the tickets with tax.

Based on the prices you mentioned in your question, I assume you're shopping for park hopper passes for two adults and one child. The base cost of those eight-day tickets on the Walt Disney World site is $895, but the total cost with tax comes to $953.18.

Hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
