To try to take advantage of morning EMH, how early to we need to be at the park? I've heard if you aren't there 30 minutes before the park opens for EMH, its not worth it. So if EMH are from 8-9 am, we need to be there at 7:30?

    Hi Amy,

I try and avoid the parks with extra magic hours (EMH) as they tend to be busier for the rest of the day than the parks without them. But when we have gone for early EMH's we've found that arriving between 10 and 15 minutes before opening is definitely early enough. This will give you enough time to go through bag check and the turnstiles before Disney opens the park. If you're travelling via Disney transport though I would advise you leave extra time to allow for the transport to arrive as you wouldn't want to arrive late!

A good tip to get the most out of EMH's is to head straight for your favourite ride, especially if it is a popular slow loading ride such as Dumbo. Ride at least once and then choose another popular attraction next. If you plan on remaining at the park for a while grab a fast pass as soon as the machines open to get a head start on the other guests.

    Have a fantastic trip,
