Is it true that wilderness lodge buses also p/u guests from ft wilderness? If so, would it be wiser to grab a bus from say the contemporary resort?

    Hi Laura,

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.

The logistics for all these resorts are fresh in my mind because my family used the buses to visit Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary  for meals just last weekend. So I can say with confidence that the Wilderness Lodge does share a bus with Fort Wilderness, at least some of the time. We took the bus directly from Epcot to the Wilderness Lodge on Sunday, but on our return trip to Epcot, the bus made a quick stop at Fort Wilderness on the way.

I can also tell you that the Contemporary often shares buses with the Polynesian and Grand Floridian. We went from Animal Kingdom to the Contemporary on Saturday, and the same bus was continuing to the Polynesian and then Grand Floridian.

In the very busiest seasons, more buses may be deployed so that each resort has its own bus. It really depends on crowd trends.

I know that's not completely definitive, but I hope it helps. Please let me know if I can offer more insight on the best way to reach specific destinations. Sometimes, the destination determines which option is the  most efficient. Or if you have other planning questions, don't hesitate to ask.

    Enjoy!
