Is it true that people stand to watch WOC? Is it a problem for children to see?

    Hi Susanne!
The World of Color is a spectacular nighttime presentation at the Disney California Adventure Park that combines fire, incredible lighting and water effects and classic Disney images.
It's certainly true that the World of Color viewing area in Paradise Park is designed for standing. While there are a limited number of benches available, those are generally reserved for Guests who may have difficulty standing.
With that said, the show is absolutely breathtaking and children and adults alike can enjoy it just as much while standing.
Now, if you want an extra special viewing experience, there are some awesome World of Color dining and dessert packages that come with vouchers for access to a preferred viewing area!
These are a great option because guests can enjoy a delicious meal and anticipate viewing the nighttime spectacular from a fantastic vantage point!
Finally, the World of Color is currently the only show at the Disneyland Resort offering FASTPASS service for tickets to a preferred viewing area.
You can get your FASTPASSES for World of Color in Paradise Park, near the Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure. I would recommend you do this as soon as you arrive at the Park in case you choose to skip on the dining package option.
Have a Magical time and thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
