Is it true that if you opt out of housekeeping, the resort will give you back $10 per day? And you can still order fresh towels, linens and toiletries to your room?

    Hi Kelly,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I bet you're practically BURSTING with excitement over your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It will be here so soon and you'll LOVE getting to experience all the magic and fun you've been planning and dreaming about!

Yes, it is true that if you're staying at Value or Moderate Disney Resort hotel, you'll be able to participate in the Service Your Way program. You'll need to ask at the front desk to participate in the program, but once you're signed up, you'll receive $10 in Disney Gift Cards for each night of your stay minus one (so for a six-night stay, you'd receive $50) via email. When you participate in the program, you won't receive housekeeping services for the entire length of your stay, so your beds won't be made, and your room won't be cleaned. However, if you find that you need fresh towels or run out of toiletry items, you'll be able to call housekeeping from your Disney Resort hotel room phone and they'll be happy to bring you what you need. We've always found an exceptional level of service at the Walt Disney World Resort, and they'll do everything they can to make your stay practically perfect in every way!

Please feel free to come see us again with any other questions, Kelly, and have a truly magical vacation!
