1st trip... 7 yr old boy, 4 yr old girl. Going to MK for sure & royal table. And planned to do HS on 2nd day, but can be redirected. Is there anything else instead of HS that you'd rec. for 7 year old boy? I want to keep him in mind too.

Hi, Kate! Let me tell you about some of my two sons' favorite things at Walt Disney World!

At The Pirates League found inside Magic Kingdom Park your little guy can be transformed into a scurvy pirate! ARRR! He can also play Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, an interactive game that takes you on an adventure all around the Park.

At Epcot, you won’t want to miss Sum of All Thrills found in the INNOVATIONS East building. Here he can design and then ride his own thrill ride! You will also want to make sure you don’t miss Test Track Presented by Chevrolet. Your little engineer can design a vehicle and take it for an interactive road test to see how it does. Upon exiting the ride there are more hands on-exhibits. My boys could stay there for hours.

Disney's Hollywood Studios has plenty for boys to do. If he is into Star Wars, do not miss the Jedi Training Academy! Light Sabers and Darth Vader – what could be better? Also exciting for any boy is catching the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! Equally thrilling is the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show.

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park your son can dig for dinosaur bones in The Boneyard. There is also a dinosaur themed carnival at Fossil Fun Games where he can step right up and test his skills. Be sure to also visit The Dino Institute and ride DINOSAUR!

At each park there are many rides and attractions for the entire family to enjoy. These are just some of my boys’ all-time favorites. I hope your son enjoys them as much as mine!

Wishing your family a magical time, Kate!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
