1st trip to WDW in 30 days! Staying at the Poly with MK view room, what building should I call and request? Kids are DS 7 & DD 4, not planning on a ton of pool time as it might be chilly. This panel has been a huge part of my planning for this trip!

Although I've not stayed at the Polynesian, one of my favorite source books, The Unofficial Guide to Disney World, has a few suggestions on where to stay if you are wanting a Magic Kingdom view: the second and third floors in Tahiti, the third floor in Tuvalu, or one of the concierge rooms on the third floors in Hawaii.

Keep in mind that a lagoon/MK view is going to cost a little more than a garden view, but if you're planning on getting back to the room to tuck in your little ones before the park closes, the view will be magical!

May your first trip be spectacular!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
