Hello, Trip in Sept. w/ DS 8 and 4 who have a metabolic disorder that causes sever low blood sugar. Have dlx ddp and carefully planned meals and snacks, worried even with adr we will have long wait for meals. Any suggestions? Thankyou

Hi Annie! Sorry that your sons have to deal with that issue, but they're so lucky to have such a caring mom looking out for their wellbeing. It sounds like you have done a great job planning carefully-timed meals. In my many years of dining at Disney restaurants, I've generally found that we are seated within 10 minutes or less after arriving at a restaurant with a reservation. Only on a few occasions has the wait been what I would consider long, so I think you will be fine. It might be a good idea to note your sons' needs on your dining reservations so the restaurants will know you need to be seated quickly.  I definitely recommend that you alert the restaurant when you arrive that your sons have blood sugar issues that require them to eat fairly soon. After you're seated, be sure to let the server know this information as well so he or she can make sure your sons' meals are served quickly.

Hope this helps! Have a magical vacation!
