1st trip planned to WDW in April '14. Looking for best activities/lodging for 4 yr old girl including hotel leaving mickey hats. I don't know where to start....LOST! Please give me an idea where to start! Want it to be the best experience ever!

Hey Cayce!  I know planning a Walt Disney World vacation can be so overwhelming!  Take a deep breath and know whatever you plan will be great and everyone will have a great time!  I have a 6 year old daughter so I have some great suggestions for you!

If you would like to have in room surprises, such as a Mickey hat, you need to contact the Disney Floral and Gifts Department.  Take a look around the website, there are so many different packages to choose from.  You can even customize a gift basket.  I personally use this service and I have always been pleased.

Something else you will want to check out is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  Your little girl can be made over into the princess of her dreams by a Fairy Godmother.  In this magical salon your daughter can have her hair done, makeup, nails painted and even choose a princess dress to wear.  Here is a tip, we bring our own dress from the Disney Store to keep costs down and we choose The Crown Package.

As for where to stay, are you looking at the Value, Moderate or Deluxe Resorts?  Are you interested in dining with characters?  If you write me back with a some more details I would be happy to help you along the way!

I hope to hear back from you soon!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
