We have a trip planned for may 3 thru the 9th, If check in isnt until 3 pm can we get into a park if we arrive earlier than the check in time?

    Hi Charlene!

I love traveling to Walt Disney World in early May because the spring break crowd will be gone and the summer vacation crowd will still be a few weeks away. That doesn't necessarily mean that the theme parks will be empty, but the crowd levels shouldn't be as high as they typically are during peak seasons.

You asked a great question about the check-in process and how it relates to your access to the theme parks. My first thought is that you might get lucky and be able to get into your room prior to the 3:00pm check-in time if the resort isn't too crowded during that week. It's certainly no guarantee, but it's a possibility.

Secondly, if you arrive at your resort hotel prior to 3:00pm, and your room isn't ready yet, then you will be able head over to the theme parks (assuming you booked a vacation that includes theme park admission). The significance of 3:00pm really only applies to the availability of your room, not your access to the theme parks that day.

So, if your room isn't ready after you arrive at your resort hotel, you can definitely plan to go have some fun in the theme parks while you wait.

I hope that helps! If you should have any further questions as you continue to prepare for your vacation, please feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can!

    Best regards,
    Derek
