Trip #2 planned 5/19-26. So excited! First trip was 2016 & there’s many changes. That said, which is best to view at HS- Fantasmic or Star Wars Firework show? They seem to be in a close time span and I’m not sure my kids (7&8) will be ‘up’ for both

    Hi Dana!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for the second time in May! Your trip will be here before you know it.

With two younger children in tow, I can certainly understand your concern. My family of six has visited Disney's Hollywood Studios "minnie" times in the past and have experienced both Fantasmic! and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. Although we really enjoy both nighttime shows, I would have to personally recommend Fantasmic! based on the ages of your children. Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular is a "must do" for the ultimate Star Wars fan; however, Fantasmic! incorporates over 50 live performers, special effects, dancing water and beloved Disney Characters. Fastasmic! is at the top of my family's list of "can't miss" experiences when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. Fastasmic! is shown on select nights in the amphitheater on Sunset Boulevard. I highly recommend securing a seat at least 60 minutes prior to the start of the show. FastPass+ service is available for this popular nighttime spectacular.

When you visit Disney's Hollywood Studios, be sure to give yourself ample time to Play Big in Toy Story Land. Slinky Dog Dash has quickly become one of my favorite attractions.

I hope this information has been helpful in making the best decision for your family, Dana. Let us know if you have any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!
