We have a trip planned for April and are planning on letting my 5 year old enjoy the Bibbidi bobbidi boutique however I am worried my 2 almost 3 year old will feel left out. Do they ever make exceptions to the age limit? Any advice?

    A royal hello, Kristen!

I’m delighted to hEAR that you’re considering a royal transformation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort!

In order to join the princess and knight-inspired fun, Guests must be between the ages of 3-12. Valid park admission is required to enjoy this experience, which also starts at the age of 3. As a fellow mom to a 2 year old, I understand how quickly a good mood can turn into a toddler meltdown, even at the Happiest Place on Earth! Luckily, there are some ways to avoid this situation. First, if you’re traveling with another adult, I’d recommend splitting up for the beginning of the appointment. Perhaps the other adult could take them to Mickey’s Toontown for his or her first roller coaster ride on Gadget’s Go Coaster. Or, for a special princess moment, they could head over to Fairy Tale Treasures in Fantasy Faire for a special shopping spree of their own. Before the appointment is done, have your 2 year old head back for their own magic. Ask a Fairy Godmother for a sprinkling of pixie dust, and they can experience their own special moment!

With a little distraction and pixie dust, you can avoid a toddler tantrum and enjoy an amazing princess transformation!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
