Hi! I have a trip planned for 4 adults and am trying to decide which dining reservations to keep at HS. I currently have reservations at both Mama Melrose and the Sci-Fi Diner. Both of their menus look great! Which one do you recommend keeping and why?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lydia! You’ve chosen two amazing places to dine at Walt Disney World Resort! I can easily see why you’re having such a difficult time deciding.

While Mama Melrose's Ristorante is a warm and inviting backstage look at Mama’s rise to top chef, the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre Restaurant is an experience that cannot be missed. You’ll adore the real studio set magic as you turn the corner behind the movie set flats into what feels like a genuine parking lot theatre, complete with cars, car hops, and a full hour-plus of vintage cartoons, movie clips and sci-fi goodness. I highly recommend the burgers, melts and milkshakes; they are some of the best around, and have been for years. Your kids will love sitting in a car with mini sound speakers, starry skies and plenty to see. As an adult, I love the Lunar Long Island Iced Tea; it’s a must have for those that can imbibe. Each time I visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I like to bring my friend and family here to experience movie magic along with a great meal. It’s one of the most unique dining experiences in the park.

Be sure to stop into Toy Story Land after your big meal. Slinky Dog is ready to whisk you off on an adventure! If I can help you find another great meal at Walt Disney World Resort, please let me know. There’s nothing I love more than to eat my way through the Parks! ~ Lindsey P.
