Disney's Magical Express transportation

Hello! Our trip is in November and we are using the Magical Express from the airport. If our flight gets in at 12:10 pm, approximately what time can we plan on arriving at our resort? Thanks, Denise

    Hi Denise!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney's Magical Express is my favorite way to start a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It's so easy to simply head to the Disney's Magical Express terminal, hop on a motor coach and be whisked away to your vacation "home". Plus, I love that if I use my Disney's Magical Express luggage tags, I don't even have to worry about picking up my luggage from baggage claim as my bags will magically be transported from our home airport to our hotel room!

I always allow three hours transportation time between the time our flight arrives at Orlando International Airport and the time when we will be ready to begin our first activity at our Disney Resort hotel. This includes plenty of time for the plane to land, for us to make our way through the airport, time to wait for a motor coach and board the motor coach, time to drive to Walt Disney World Resort and time to make any required stops at other Disney Resort hotels before we arrive at our vacation "home". So if you are arriving at 12:10 p.m., I would plan that you will be ready to begin your first activity at your Disney Resort hotel around 3:10 p.m.

In my experience, I have found that transportation time on Disney's Magical Express can vary greatly depending on the time you arrive, the day of the week you arrive and the overall crowd level of Walt Disney World Resort during your trip. So I always plan three hours to be safe and to ensure that we don't feel rushed at the start of our vacation!

Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you continue planning your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
