This trip to Disney World will unexpected be just my three childen and I! They are ages 4, 8, and 10. Are there any helpful hints for adults in this situation? Someone mentioned having a cast member with you (for a fee)? Can't find the info...

Hi Jessica! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I bet you and your kiddos are excited to visit in just a few days! I'm happy to offer some tips on how to make this trip a little bit easier.

I definitely recommend a double stroller! Either bring one from home or rent one in the theme parks. This way, you have your two younger kids in the stroller as you walk around the theme parks and know exactly where they are!

Download the My Disney Experience mobile app prior to leaving home. When you are at Walt Disney World Resort, use it to check wait times and make FastPass+ selections on-the-go. This will help keep wait times down and hopefully reduce meltdowns ... for both kids AND mom! You can also use Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering on the app to order ahead at many Quick-Service locations. Then you can simply pick-up your food without waiting in long lines. I used this a lot on our last trip and it was so nice to not spend 20 minutes in line discussing with my little ones what they would eat and having them change their mind a billion times!

There are a couple of options for having someone with you in the theme parks. You mentioned a Cast Member escort which is through VIP Tour Services. These are on the pricey side, but truly are "VIP." For a more budget-friendly option, check out Kid's Nite Out's In-Park Assistance. They are an independent childcare provider, but recommended by Walt Disney World and can be booked at (407) 828-0920.

I hope these tips help, Jessica! Enjoy your trip!
