This is our 1st trip to Disney. We are staying at the coronadosprings resort. Are there any places where we can sit back and rest in case my son gets tired without leaving the park?

    Hi Yatin,

Great choice for your resort. I just stayed there in December and had forgotten how much I enjoyed that property. Although many people like heading back to the resorts for afternoon breaks, we hate to leave the parks once we are there but need a break too, so I understand looking for a place to sit and rest. Don't worry, Disney knows you need a break and they have planned for this. You will find numerous spots to sit and relax before heading off to for your next adventure.

You did not mention the age of your son, but if he is younger and you are looking for a spot to nurse or change a diaper there are wonderful baby care stations in each one of the parks. Here you will find highchairs, changing tables and couches to sit and relax. The stations also sell some supplies if you are running low. If you are beyond the baby and toddler years there are benches and seats throughout all of the parks to sit for a while. Some of our favorites include the gardens in Epcot's World Showcase England, the area around Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom and the porch (with comfy rocking chairs) that you will find in Liberty Square and Frontierland at Magic Kingdom. There are great splash areas in Epcot and Magic Kingdom where your son can cool off and enjoy some water fun and don't forget all of the parks feature some wonderful shows that are inside an air condtioned space and are a great place to sit and cool off. When are boys were young we loved visiting shows like the Carousel of Progress or Hall of Presidents at Magic Kingdom, the American Adventure at Epcot or the Voyage of the Little Mermaid at Hollywood Studios. We were able to let the boys rest and maybe even take a brief nap while we enjoyed the entertainment.

You will have no problem finding many places that work best for your family's needs and if you decide a resort break is needed, the Disney transportation system will get you back to your hotel in no time at all. Have a wonderful and restful trip!
