our trip at CR is in 42 days and I'm now thinking about going again in Aug/10 if I can get a free dining bounce back. want 5 nights at CBR and 5 nights at a value. which would be better for me and DD's 6&8 Pop or Movies? THX

    Natalie,

I would choose Pop Century.  While all of the value resorts have similar amenities, there are a couple of things that make me lean this direction, the first being transportation.  Pop Century always has dedicated buses, unlike the All-Star Resorts which sometimes share buses.  For you this will mean shorter wait times and less likelihood of the buses being too full to fit in.

Second, Pop Century is newer.  While All-Star Movies is a great resorts and it is not at all in a state of disrepair, it does feel older in comparison to Pop.  Also, unless you luck out with the Toy Story wing, the movies are a bit out of date.  I know my daughters (2, 4, and 6 years old) were quite disappointed to receive a room in the Mighty Ducks section - they had no idea what that movie was and it held no appeal for them.

Third, and yes, I freely acknowledge some might consider this a minor point: Pop Century has a frozen coke machine in their food court.  So you can buy a refillable mug and slurp frozen cokes all week long - how great is that?  (Yes, the little things in life really excite me)

Have a great vacation, both this winter and next summer!
