We have a trip coming up in March to Disney World. My son will be turning 7 the day we check in. Can you tell me the best way to plan his day? This is his 1st trip to Disney World as well.

    Welcome home, Paige!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and for sending us your awesome question. Let me be the first to wish your son a happy, magical and unforgettable birthday!

A birthday and first visit to Walt Disney World Resort at the same time? Wow! This is gearing up to be an incredible vacation. First and foremost, I suggest that as soon as you check-in you pick up 'First Visit' and 'Happy Birthday' Celebration Recognition Buttons. These complimentary buttons let everyone at Walt Disney World know what you’re celebrating and will bring your son tons of attention and extra Pixie Dust!

Disney Floral & Gifts can help you kick-off your son’s birthday celebrations with an In-Room Celebration as soon as you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel. Disney Floral & Gifts can also help you order a cake for your son. You can send a cake to your Disney Resort hotel or to a restaurant of your choice!

Mom’s Quick Tip: The ‘Customize Your Celebration’ page has a wealth of information and tips for celebrating your special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort!

Paige, I wish you an unforgettable vacation. Please visit us again for even more tips before, during and after your visit!
