I have a trip coming up during the week of Christmas. How long are the wait times if you make a FP+ reservation. Can I reserve rides within 30mins or would 1hr be better?

    Hi Bernadette,

While the crowds will be quite heavy during Christmas week, that should not impact your FastPass+ wait times. The entire point of FP+ is that Disney controls the number issued in a way such that the waits for FP+ holders are minimal throughout the day. While the exact FP+ wait varies by attraction, generally it is no more than 10 minutes.

That being said, the My Disney Experience system will not allow you to select FP+ times closer than one hour apart. For your first three FP+ selections (the ones you can make in advance), the computer will not let you reserve rides 30 minutes apart. This has nothing to do with the time of year; it's like that all the time.

After you've used your first three FP+ selections, you can then make additional selections, one at a time, at kiosks in the parks. If there is availability, you could theoretically make these selections  closer than one hour apart, but practically it would almost never happen, even during slow times of the year.

Please let us know if you have additional questions. We're happy to help.
