    Lori Asked

Hi, I have a trip booked in Oct. for 12 days. I am seeing I can only book dining reservations for the first 10 days. (Using the 180 days +10 rule. When can I book the last 2 days? Am I understanding the rules right? Thanks!

Hi, Lori!  Guests of Walt Disney World resorts do have the benefit of booking their dining reservations at 180 days in advance of the first day of their visit, and you can make the reservations for up to 10 days of your vacation.

In your case, you can make dining reservations for your last two days at 180 days before those days.  You'll have to call in each day to make reservations 180 days in advance, but that's still a pretty good lead time to get some of the most popular dining reservations.

To really take advantage of your benefit, though, book the busy restaurants with your 180 days plus 10 option.  Cinderella's Royal Table, Be Our Guest, Chef Mickey's, Le Cellier, and 'Ohana are some of the most popular restaurants and can be the hardest reservations to snag.  You might want to book those earlier in your trip, using your 180 days plus 10 booking advantage.

    Have a wonderful time planning!
