Trip booked for Dec 11-16, 2011-Pop Century, Magic your way dining, 5 day park passes(not hoppers). 3rd trip for me, husband, 10 yr daughter, grandparents. Suggestions for which park/which day/extra magic/where to eat/what to do. I am in charge of plan.

    Hey Lisa,

Wow, there are so many things to do at this time of the year at Walt Disney World. Christmas time is so magical at WDW, I could suggest forever about an itinerary but Ill just give you a couple of my top picks.

Magic Kingdom is so  beautiful at this time of year.Take in all of the decorations and marvel in the spirit of the season. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, is the most merry celebration ever. The party goes on at the Magic Kingdom on select evenings after the park closes. The tickets to the party are not included in the tickets you have, its extra but so worth it. Cinderellas Castle is specially lit, there is a special Christmas parade, hot chocolate, free cookies and apple slices are served, and it actually snows on Main Street U.S.A.

Also, experience the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. This is a beautiful show that narrates the story of Christmas. There is a full orchestra and a mass choir that sings Christmas songs and accompanies the Narrator who is usually a celebrity. There are three shows every evening. There are dinner packages that can be purchased that guarantees you seating. Otherwise, you should get in line about 45 minutes prior to the show to be seated, There is no extra cost for the Candlelight Processional. Also, at Epcot there are Holiday Storytellers in the World Showcase that tell cultural stories of their country and pose for photos.

Each hotel has a uniquely decorated Christmas tree. My favorites include the one at the Animal Kingdm Lodge and the one at Grand Floridian. While at Grand Floridian find the life size Gingerbread House, You will know exactly where it is because your nose will lead you right to it.

There is so much to do at this time of the year, I hope this is a starting point for you!
