If I tried to make a reservation for character dining with NO LUCK what can I do to make sure my daughter has this experience...? Do I keep calling back everyday and pray that someone cancels? Tried character dining as well? Do you have any other advice.

Hi, Marci!  Character meals are are some of the most popular dining experiences, and they can book up very quickly!  It can sometimes be difficult to get through on the phone with the dining reservations agents first thing in the morning, as so many people are up early to try and get the coveted spot at Cinderella's Royal Table!

My advice is to be as flexible as you can.  Explore your options at all of the character meals, including Donald's Safari breakfast at Disney's Animal Kingdom; breakfast and lunch at Hollywood and Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom, and the Garden Grill at EPCOT.  Check out the character breakfast at 'Ohana and the character dinner at 1900 Park Fare, both in resort hotels.  Check for each day that you will be visiting Walt Disney World, and check various times.  You can do this online HERE.

Once you have exhausted this option, call in every day.  People do cancel for various reasons, and you never know when a table may open up.  I also tell people to call straight through their arrival date.  Cinderella's Royal Table, for example, requires a 48 hour cancellation notice to avoid penalties, and people might hold onto their reservation there until the last minute, when they know for sure they can't make it.

If all else fails, there are plenty of meet and greet opportunities throughout the theme parks for your daughter to see her favorite characters up close and personal.  You can check the schedule at the theme park when you arrive.

Good luck!  I hope you get a little sprinkling of pixie dust and a reservation becomes available!
