We will be travelling to WDW with our 4 year old son. This is our first time as a family and we thought it would be great to kick things off with a character breakfast, can you have breakfast with Woody and Buzz Lightyear? Cheers,

Hi Rhonda and welcome to the Moms Panel!

I'm so happy for your family's first visit to Walt Disney World!  Unfortunately Woody and Buzz are not characters at any of the current meals.  If you would like to see these characters up close I would suggest the Meet and Greet with Woody and Buzz in Pixar Place at Hollywood Studios.  Just follow the link when it is closer to your vacation dates to see what their scheduled times will be like.  I still remember when my daughter was 4 years old and awaiting her turn to see Woody.  She was unusually quiet, so I asked her what she was thinking.  She said, "I am going to ask Woody if I can see the bottom of his boot."  These memories are forever etched into my heart.  You will have many memories like that with your son that will stay with you forever!

One of my must-do's on every Walt Disney World vacation is to schedule character meals.  My 14 year old daughter still loves them just as much as my 4 year old son!  They are such a refreshing way to refuel, cool off, and fill your children's eyes with magic.  There are Character Meals in every park and many resort hotels.  Use the link above and check the "Character Dining" filter to see all of the options available.

I wish for you an extra helping of pixie dust for your family's first visit!  Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any further questions.  We love to help!
