Hi there - we will be travelling to WDW in Summer with a younger child. Wondering where the best places are to get healthy, cost effective snacks for them to eat. Thanks

Hello, Natalie! Thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Walt Disney World Resort is literally my favorite place in the world for snacks! While some are decadent (cupcakes, ice cream and chocolate--oh my!) many are quite healthy. In each of the Theme Parks and Water Parks you'll find kiosks and quick service locations that serve fresh fruit, veggies and other "mom-approved" snacks.

At Magic Kingdom Park, Gaston's Tavern offers sliced apples with caramel sauce, hummus and chips and a mixed vegetable cup with dip. Liberty Square Market also offers a wide variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, carrots and celery sticks and crackers, too.

Our favorite spot for a cool summer treat at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is the Harambe Fruit Market, but we also enjoy the hummus and pita from Mr. Kamal's.

At Epcot, the Kabuki Cafe offers chilled edamame and The Land Cart has both a fruit and cheese and a crudités vegetable plate, and at Disney's Hollywood Studios you'll find fresh fruit at Anaheim Produce and a "Power Pack" made just for kids at Rosie's All-American Café.

In addition to these suggestions, use your My Disney Experience Mobile app's menus to check out even more quick, healthy cost-effective snack options.

    Enjoy your treats!
