We are travelling to WDW in April with our family, all adults except our 1 year old son. What are some attractions he will be able to partake in if any, and are children under 3 as I can't find a price anywhere?

    Hi Deana,

My son just turned 3 and he’s already been to Walt Disney World Resort five times, from 5 1/2 months old until a few months shy of his 3rd birthday. I’ve had so much fun re-discovering the Theme Parks and Resorts through his eyes and I think you’ll be amazed at how much there is to see and do for them.

First, if I understand your question correctly, I can confirm that children under the age of 3 are Mickey’s Special Guests at Walt Disney World Resort, which means that they don’t need a Theme Park Ticket in order to spend a day in the Theme Parks or Water Parks.

The next tip that I would give you would be to look for attractions that specify that they can be experienced by guests of “any height”. That’s a sign that you’ll be able to experience an attraction with your son. Click over to the Disney Parks Blog for a list of which attractions can be experienced by all Guests, regardless of their height. One of my favourite tricks when travelling with my son when he was under 3: he was able to ride some of his favourite attractions twice in a row, by getting in line with me and then with his Dada when we redeemed our FastPass+ selections (because kids under 3 don’t need a Theme Park Ticket, they can just accompany an adult in the FastPass+ line). I lost track of how many times he got to ride the Tomorrowland Speedway that way…

Finally, for a list of fun things to do with your little man, check out the Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones page. It’s filled with great tips and tricks for making their visit to the Walt Disney World Resort extra magical for them.

    Have a Magical Day,
