we are travelling from the uk with 2 children age 20 months & 7 years, we have 1 afternoon, a full day & 1 morning to spend at both parks, is it possible to do everything in this time?

Hi there, Natasha! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's so wonderful that you and your family are traveling from overseas to visit the Disneyland Resort!

The great news is that you can certainly see and do A LOT in the time you have available. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are really close together so hopping between parks is incredibly easy. This is why I always recommend purchasing park hopper tickets. Next, prioritize which attractions and entertainment are "must dos." This will give you a game plan and help you make efficient use of your time. With your little one, keep in mind that he or she can ride with you on any attraction that doesn't have a height restriction. For those attractions that do require riders to be a certain height, you can utilize Rider Switch. This way, one adult waits with the toddler while the other rides an attraction with the 7-year-old (if he or she is tall enough). Then when they are done, the adult waiting with the younger child switches with the other adult and that person and up to two others (including the 7-year-old that just rode) can ride the attraction with minimal wait.

My last two tips are to start your days early when you can and to make use of Disney's FASTPASS Service. I find that you can get a whole lot done in the morning and then you can use FASTPASS tickets for those attractions that usually have longer waits in the afternoons.

Please stop by again as I would love to help you continue to plan your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
