Hi! I will be travelling with two young children in Feb 2012 and staying in Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa for one week. Would you recommend renting a car from the airport, or take the Magical Express from the airport and rent a car in WDW itse

    Hi SzeYen,

We like to rent the car from on-site at Walt Disney World. It is so relaxing to arrive Orlando and be able to proceed directly to Disney's Magical Express for bus transportation to our resort. No luggage to claim and no worries about dealing with traffic! Your luggage will arrive your resort room approximately 3 hours after your plane lands.

Typically, we pick up the car during the afternoon of our first full day in Disney. The first night, we spend at our hotel or take the resort bus to Downtown Disney. If we are staying at a monorail resort, we'll take the monorail to dinner at another resort.

We like to rent from National at the WDW Dolphin. The rental office is right off the lobby. Everyone is super nice. Then, we are given the key to give to the valet. The valet drives the car around and we are on our way. It's just as simple to return the car as well.

You can get to the WDW Dolphin hotel by taking the bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then taking the boat or walking to the resort.

If you choose to rent from the Car Care Center on property, you can arrange for a van to pick you up. Either way, renting your vehicle from on WDW property is very convenient.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
