Hi! We're travelling with two little ones. Due to naps, we're considering a switch from AS Sports To Fort Wilderness hoping to drastically cut transportation time down to parks. What do you think - how much time should I allot for ferry, etc? Thanks!!

    Hi Jessica!

Ft. Wilderness is a fun place to be! The ferry ride to/from the Magic Kingdom is just about 15 minutes long. Along the way you'll see a lot of great sights - the monorail, Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge. I'd also plan on about 20 minutes waiting for any ferry or bus - sometimes they'll be quicker, and sometimes a little slower, but that should be a good average.

Once you arrive at Ft. Wilderness, you may need to use the internal shuttle around the resort. This will depend on where your accommodations are located. This will add on to the transportation time a bit as well.

For the remainder of the parks, you'll be using bus transportation and this will be about the same as the service from All Star Sports.

Hope you have a great first vacation!
