    Helen Asked

Hi - We are travelling with our two children (Aged 3 and 13) from New Zealand to go on the 14 day Panama Canal cruise in Dec 2012. My question is regarding the Ocean club for the 3 year old. Can he sleep at the Ocean club in the evening?

    Hello Helen,

Your trip is going to be wonderful!  I have not been fortunate enough (yet) to sail on that trip, but it's definitely on my "to do" list.  The Oceaneer Club and Lab are not set up for children to nap.  There is too much going on in there for anything but happy, bouncing kids!

If you think that your son will need nap times, I'd suggest that you look into booking nursery time, where there is a room available for sleeping.  Please remember, that the nursery is only available by appointment, so you would have to pick and choose the times you think he would want to be there, and make the reservation.   There is an additional fee charged.

I hope this helps Helen.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a magical trip!
