Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Neha!

I’m so excited that you will be exploring the Disneyland Resort with your two little ones this month! April is a glorious time to visit because all the flowers and trees are in full bloom and the weather is absolutely divine. In my experience, highs for this time of year are around the upper 70s to low 80s, but you’ll want to prepare for cooler temperatures in the mornings and evenings. I suggest layering your infant so he is comfortable when it’s cooler and then you can easily shed some layers when it heats up in the afternoons.

I would also plan to bring your stroller from home since he is familiar with it which makes taking naps in the stroller much easier. There are lots of places to sit with a stroller while he naps. Some quiet places I like to sit are along the trail behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad as it connects to Fantasyland, in a handful of nooks by Pooh Corner in Critter Country, and in the World of Color viewing area along Paradise Bay in Disney California Adventure Park. You could also bring your baby carrier or wrap to wear your son as you tour the parks. You can even wear him on nearly all attractions that do not have height restrictions. Baby wearing may also make breastfeeding more convenient depending on how he likes to be carried.

Finally, I would plan some time each day to head back to the hotel for naps. My daughter is almost five and, while she no longer naps at home, she requires a bit of a break every day when we are at the parks. The rest will also help keep your baby from becoming overstimulated during the day.
