Hi. I am travelling with my 5 1/2 month old in May. When it says "guests with young children may take turns experiencing attractions" under the information section of the attractions, does that mean he will not be allowed to ride the ride? Thanks

    Hi Danielle!

Yes, the statement you saw does mean that the particular attraction is not suitable for your infant.  You can utilize Disney's 'Baby Swap' program so the adults in your party are still able to ride.  Just ask the cast member at the ride entrance for a switch ticket and they will be happy to help you.

However, just because that statement is present does not mean that your child is not welcome to ride - it may be just that the ride could be of questionable suitability.  For example, in the Magic Kingdom Space Mountain has the 'take turns' statement because that ride has a 44 inch minimum height requirement.  However, the Haunted Mansion also has the statement and there are no restrictions on who may experience that ride.  The statement is present to alert parents that a rider swap is available if needed, since some children may be afraid of that ride.

We've always taken our girls on everything that they are tall enough to ride.  As infants they rode every ride without  height restriction and we've never had any problems.

    Enjoy your trip!
