I will be travelling with my husband and 7 year old daughter to WDW in May for 4 days. Since it is our first visit I would be happy if you could help me decide the attractions I must use the fast pass for. Also any suggestions on the must do things at WDW

    Hi Shalini,

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel. How exciting that you and your family will be having your very first Walt Disney World vacation in just a few short sleeps! I'm sure your 7 year old daughter is overly-excited about seeing Cinderella's castle. There are many attractions that are must-see, but here is a short list of some that your daughter, your husband and you will enjoy together:
    • At Magic Kingdom, you have a large list of wonderful attractions that first timers should experience. First off, for your princess, you'll want to make a FastPass+ selection to meet the Disney princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall. It will be an experience she'll never forget. As for rides, I'd say that you can't go wrong with making selections for the Magic Kingdom "mountains": Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Since you have a 7 year old, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad would be great choices for all three of you.
    • At Epcot, Soarin' and Test Track are the two best FastPass+ selections, since the queues for these can get very long. You'll only be able to pick one of these, not both, so I would suggest Soarin'. It's a great family friendly ride.
    • At Hollywood Studios, you have to make a FastPass+ selection for Toy Story Mania. It's the best family attraction in the park! Also, a selection for Star Tours would be a great bonding experience. If your daughter is tall enough, and loves thrill rides, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster would be a fun experience as well.
    • Animal Kingdom is one of the most relaxing parks and has the fewest rides that really need a FastPass. Kilimanjaro Safaris is the top attraction on the FastPass selection list. Try to get a slot early in the day!

I hope this answered your question, Shalini. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
