We are travelling in a group of 6. When we eat at a table service, are we allowed to request 2 separate bills? And leave 2 tips?

    Christopher:

Thanks for coming to the Moms Panel with your question.

I travel many times to Disney World with friends and even extended family and have found that most cast members are more than happy to split the checks in my dining party. However, I've had the best experience when I have given them a heads up when ordering and allowd extra time when waiting for and paying for the bill. Additionally, regardless of how many checks are in a party, be aware that Disney charges an automatic 18% gratuity on all table service dining for parties of 6 or more. So even if you split up your party, you'll be charged a minimum of 18% gratuity. You are welcome, however, to include a higher tip if you receive superior service.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
