We will be travelling at the end of February 2009 with an 8 year old and 5 year old. We will be staying 10 days. I have read the comments on the value versus the moderate hotels but I would still like to know, for a difference of 700 $ -1000 $ for 10 days,

Deciding on your resort accommodations takes in to consideration your personal preferences as well as budget guidelines.

Personally, I prefer the moderate hotels. I think they offer a great value for the money and there theming is well done. For instance, I enjoy the charming streets at Port Orleans French Quarter and the tropical landscaping at the Caribbean Beach Resort.

If the extra money is a huge concern, then stick with a value resort. I don't believe that you should spend your vacation worrying about the dollars that you are spending. This should be a fun, relaxing and magical time for your family.

You could always stay value on this vacation and take a look at a moderate so you know if that is the type of accommodation that you'd like to try on your next trip.
