Hi Jamie,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I understand that finding a way to
enjoy Walt Disney World Resort with a preschooler while providing the
best experience for your teenager can be tricky. I'm happy to share with you that you that by combining
FastPass+ selections and the
Rider Switch program, I am confident your entire family will have an
unforgettable Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
If, for example, your teenager is holding onto his hat for the
Wildest Ride in the Wilderness, you could reserve access
two Guests, for your teen and an adult, before entering Magic Kingdom Park. When his FastPass+ window opens, simply tell the friendly Cast Member at the FastPass+ podium that you would like to use the Rider Switch program. One adult will join your teen while another maybe brings your younger Pirate or Mermaid to play in the Laughin' Place, a toddler play area just around the corner, outside the entrance to Splash Mountain. After the runaway train comes to a complete stop, the adults can switch! Up to three Guests may enter through the FastPass+ queue by presenting the Rider Switch Slip. Enjoy!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Sally
