Hello, we are travelling to Disneyworld with 2 year old twins and have been told they need car seats on all shuttle busses. We will be using the magical express the shuttles from hotel to parks. do we need to car seats?

Greetings, Holly, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I adore bringing my toddler to Walt Disney World Resort. The magic is so entirely real for the kids! When you wheel up to the Cast Member manned kiosks at MCO airport, you’ll know your vacation has begun! Comfy seats and entertainment for the kids awaits on board your motorcoach, and even I, as an adult, adore the cartoons and on-screen trivia.

When I bring my grade schooler on board Disney’s Magical Express, he can easily use the seat belts, but my toddler is a different story. When she was a very little baby, I was welcome to bring a car seat and use it (there were never LATCH systems that I found, but the seat belts were very handy). Otherwise, I’ve held my babies in my lap (a la the airplane) and allowed my two year old to sit on the window side of the coupled seats and maintained her carefully to stay seated. She’s always highly entertained by the Disney billboards and the Magical Express channel entertainment. Most of the time, we leave our car seats at home, since many Walt Disney World operated van-style shuttles will have a car seat, and the UBER Family available in the city also offers a select car seat option in the app.

I hope you have a magical vacation, and please return to us to ask us more questions as you plan! ~ Lindsey P.
